Well my running iPod Nano (1st gen) seems to have bitten the dust. It is in permanent recovery mode and I have tried all the Rs to reset and recover it - with no effect. So this morning's run was done to the tune of . . . the birds, and the Monday morning garbage trucks, and everything else going on in the world.
5 miles in 1:08 and I ran the first mile nonstop which is an improvement. Ankles a bit stiff after Friday's July 4 parade and Saturday's 5 mile run, but overall feeling OK.
Weight at 260 pre-run and 258 post-run. Currently rehydrating and eating a bagel with peanut butter and morning coffee.
Need to set a short-term goal and make this a breakthrough week. 255 here I come!
