Stormy weather

Well, it has been an interesting week for my running.

Tuesday was great as I ran 3 miles, cut the lawn, and swam for an hour.

Wednesday was rest day as we all shed a few tears for the four boy scouts who lost their lives in Blencoe, Iowa. My prayers go out to those families who lost their sons and whose boys were injured. This is especially close to me because my son and I leave for 4 days at boy scout camp in Georgia on Sunday.

Rest from running and a 75-minute swim session with the kids on Thursday.

Started Friday with a 4-mile run and feeling 8 out of 10 to start the day.

Daily afternoon thunderstorms are the routine now and it's a race to get outside stuff done every afternoon before the rains come.
